Bunnies, Bunnies Everywhere

Well the bunnies are 14 days old and finally figured out how to get out of the nestbox. They swarmed poor Ma and wanted to be nursed, but she new best, because they only get feed in the am and pm, yup just twice a day.

A few of them were trying out the rabbit pellets.

this guy is cure.
This white one with it's light grey nose, ears, feet and tail is pretty too.

One of the 5 black ones.

But this grey one is Wifey's favorite.

And it was a nice day Saturday so the chickens were free ranging. I was trying to get Mr. Rooster to crow and keep his harem in control.

After I got him started, all he could attract was a few hens, the rest ignored him completely.

And Wifey was very proud of her first crocus blooming.

And today it's covered with 2 inches of SNOW!!!

Crocus in the snow....beautiful!

Those bunnies are the cutest little things :)

And what a silly rooster!

My roo, Sid gets all upset when I come into the coop and all my ladies crowd around me. Today I was picking up a hen to cuddle and he started to fly at me.

I hissed at him and said 'don't you dare, buddy, or I'll knock you into the next county!' lol!

He got the picture and backed down. Crazy roo!
