And ANOTHER New Chicken Chaser

Last Friday my son came over to work on my lawnmower and brought Kane along to visit poor lonesome Harley.
Unfortunatetly, Harley was still being unfriendly towards Kane. So I tried to keep him entertained while Eric was busy.

Evidently I didn't do too good of a job, because Kane soon discovered that chasing chickens was a lot more fun. But this hen didn't want to play fair.

So Kane gave up and decided to just lay around and look handsome.
I think he did an excellant job of that, but then again he is my Granddog.

How old is Kane now?

I wonder if he will lighten up or stay as black as he now?

Our GSD is 10 months old and I was amazed how entirely black she was when we brought her home.

She has lightened up considerably since she's been with us and she has the typical brown, tan, black markings now.

Kane is a cutie. I can see why you'd be so enamored of him :)

Hi Lisa: the vet figures a little over a year old, and I wouldn't be surprised if he does lighten up as he gets his new coat next spring.
he has put on over 10 lbs. since Eric got him, and is gaining confidence along with it. He spent most of his life in the animal shelter where my son got him.

How is Zuni doing? I would love to see a new picture of her.
