WAKE ME WHEN IT'S OVER

Harley is P.O.'d this morning!!!

Why you ask?

Well early this morning it started snowing. AGAIN!!

And BLOWING!!

And it's COLD outside!!

The wind is coming out of the north-east and poor Harley has nowhere to get out of the wind when he is out on the chain. So it was a very quick potty break for him this morning and right back inside. No time to smell the morning air or get into a tussle with Bear.

Harley is sick and tired of winter already and it hasn't even officially arrived yet!!!

You can't see it but the fine snow is falling horizontally and visibility is poor.

And it's only supposed to get worse as the day progresses!!!
And we are supposed to get 6-10 inches of blowing and drifting snow!!!
With another storm in the forecast for Sunday!!!

The birds are waiting their turn at the feeder.

Don't they look uncomfortable too.
Harley finally went back to sleep after pacing for a few minutes.
Sounds good to me.
I think I will join him.
DON'T WAKE ME UNTIL IT'S ALL OVER

Hey, nice use of different colored fonts!! How'd you do that, anyway?!

And I don't normally get to say "I know how you feel" when it comes to nasty midwest weather, but guess what? I *totally* know how you feel! It snowed here yesterday, it's snowing now, and we, too, are in line for another "6 to 10 inch accumulation" between Sat. and Sun.!! (We've got about 7 inches now.) What state did I move to when I blinked and how did I get there??!! I think Harley has the right idea about sleeping it off!
Stay warm, greywolf!!

Blech, blech, blech.

Snowy wind. Windy snow.

We have ice. Big thick sheets of it. And it is still coming down. My yard has transformed into an ice skating rink. Right now Im imagining myself ice skating to my future chicken coop to tend to the chickens...I am totally gonna teach them how to do figure eights.

Make sure you have lots of hot cocoa and marshmallows to last thru the storm.

Dorothy: Welcome to MICHIGAN.
Wifey and I had to bust through 2ft deep snow drifts to feed the animals and both of us managed to slip on the underlying ice and fall. No major injuries.
I sent you an email about the font colors.

Maude: YOU CAN HAVE THE ICE. I don't like the snow but I hate the ice.
I don't think cocoa will be strong enough. May have to add the old Irish "water of life" to do the trick.

Whew! Poor Harley! How are all the chickens and bunnies doing, too?
Looks like you're gonan end up with a white Christmas after all?

We're expecting a rush of snowy weather starting on Monday evening. I do love a white Christmas, as long as the snow is dry and powdery, and it melts quickly, isn't icy and not frigid.

I'm not picky, am I?

Stay warm and enjoy your 'spicy' cocoa. hehe :)
